Any time. Cub Scouting is a year-round program, although most Pack 3671 programming takes place from September through May. Summer activities are also offered.

Scouts are grouped by grade: Lion for kindergarten, Tiger for first grade, Wolf for second, Bear for third, Webelos for fourth and Arrow of Light for fifth.

Dens generally meet two or three times a month, depending on the age group and current adventure. Pack 3671 also holds Pack meetings and larger activities throughout the year.

Most regular activities take place on Tuesday evenings around 6 p.m., but den meeting times and locations can vary.

Cub Scouts complete hands-on adventures designed for their age level. Adventures cover a wide range of subjects, including outdoor skills, fitness, citizenship, personal safety, science, service, and more.

Scouts complete required adventures for their rank and can choose additional elective adventures based on their interests.

That's okay. Our Scouts have plenty of other interests and commitments, and perfect attendance is not expected. Depending on the activity, your Scout may be able to complete missed requirements at home or during another meeting. Your Den Leader can help.

A parent or adult partner attends meetings and activities with Lion and Tiger Scouts. Parents and guardians of older Scouts are encouraged to participate as well.

Pack meetings and many Pack outings are family activities, and siblings are often welcome.

A handbook is available for each Cub Scout rank and can be useful for families who want to explore additional adventures at home. Handbooks are optional; Den Leaders will provide materials needed for Pack 3671 meetings.

Scout advancement is recorded through Scoutbook Plus, Scouting America's official advancement system. Parents can use Scoutbook Plus to follow their Scout's progress and record eligible adventures completed at home.

Once you join the Pack, current event information, reminders, RSVPs, and family communication are conducted via email with parents and guardians.

Every adult leader in Pack 3671 is a volunteer. Families can help in many different ways, from assisting with one meeting or activity to helping organize events such as Pinewood Derby or Blue and Gold.

Parents are also welcome at Pack planning meetings. No previous Scouting experience is required to volunteer.

Youth safety is a core part of the Scouting program. Registered Pack leaders complete required Safeguarding Youth Training as well as training for their leadership roles.

Scouts also complete age-appropriate personal safety adventures that teach them to recognize unsafe situations and know what to do.

Safeguarding Youth Training is required for Pack leaders and certain participating adults and is recommended for all parents and guardians.

Please make sure Pack leaders know about medical needs that could affect your Scout's participation. Current families complete the required Scouting America health forms annually and receive additional instructions for outings and overnight activities.

If you have questions about allergies, medications, or other medical considerations, speak directly with your Den Leader or Cubmaster before an activity.

Please ask. Financial assistance may be available, and the Pack maintains a limited supply of gently used uniform pieces. We want families to talk with us rather than assume cost will prevent their child from participating.
